Meet Our Dentists

As a 1995 graduate of the Case Western Reserve University School of Dentistry, located in Cleveland, Ohio, Dr. Plaitis knows teeth. Starting his career in Vermont, he completed his Residency and later opened a private practice until he decided to return to his native hometown of Toronto.

Since 1999, Dr. Plaitis has dedicated his professional career to providing his Toronto clients with quality dentistry available. Dr. Plaitis utilizes current technology, offering comfort and personalization. In his spare time, Dr. Plaitis enjoys travelling, skiing, outdoor activities and spending time with family and friends.

As a graduate of the University of Toronto Doctor of Dental Surgery program, Dr. Kraus completed a residency at the University of North Carolina from July 2010 – July 2011. Upon returning to her hometown of Toronto, Dr. Kraus joined the team at Metropolitan Dental in August 2011.

Dr. Kraus’s spare time is spent with family and friends, enjoying the culture of Toronto’s restaurants or sporting events, and she enjoys travelling.

Dr. Taylor McKerlie graduated from Trinity College Dental University Hospital in Ireland; a unique 5-year program that combines study with clinical practice for underserved patient communities. At the University of Connecticut John Dempsey Hospital, Dr. McKerlie completed a residency program with a certificate for Advanced Education in General Dentistry. Her interest in science and patient care began at the University of Western Ontario where she earned a Bachelor of Science degree. Dr. McKerlie’s patient-centred approach means that her patients feel heard and important.

Dr. McKerlie recently returned to her hometown of Toronto to continue in private practice. Her time in Dublin and the opportunity to visit Europe sparked her interest in travelling, exploring new places, and meeting new people. She also enjoys sailing, cooking, and workout classes with friends.

Dr. Sabrina Panetta earned her Doctor of Dental Surgery Degree and Honours Bachelor of Medical Sciences Degree, with distinction, from the Schulich School of Medicine and Dentistry at Western University.

With over 10 years of clinical experience, Dr. Panetta is committed to delivering high quality and comprehensive dental care to her patients. She values the importance of a positive overall experience and ensures each visit is comfortable, friendly and informative.

Dr. Panetta is a member of the Royal College of Dental Surgeons of Ontario, the Ontario Dental Association and the Toronto Central Dental Society. Her clinical interests include aesthetic dentistry, fixed prosthodontics and paediatric dentistry.

Dr. Panetta is certified in Invisalign therapy and has completed training with Spear Education Online, along with courses in porcelain veneers, Bioclear cosmetic bonding and restorative implant prosthetics, amongst others. In her spare time, she enjoys travelling, attending fitness classes and spending quality time with family and friends.

Dr. Michelle Ezer is a graduate of the Schulich School of Dentistry (2009) and completed a one-year General Practice Residency at The Hospital for Sick Children (SickKids). During her residency, she gained valuable experience providing dental care to children and patients with complex medical needs in a hospital-based setting.

Dr. Ezer is committed to delivering high-quality, patient-centred care and places a strong emphasis on helping patients feel comfortable, informed, and confident throughout their dental experience. She takes pride in creating a calm and supportive environment while focusing on long-term oral health and confident smiles.

She is dedicated to maintaining the highest standards of care and actively pursues continuing education to stay current with the latest advancements in dentistry, techniques, and technology.

Dr. Ezer is married and has three children. Outside the office, she enjoys staying active through swimming and skiing with her family.
